Team Ombudsman

Yahya is a Bioengineering major with a minor in History from Frederick, Maryland. He works in the Huang Chiao lab in the Bioengineering Department on campus, and is a board member of the UMD Muslim Students Association. He enjoys spending time with friends, playing basketball, and reading mystery novels. After graduation, he plans on pursuing a professional degree in bioengineering and plans on teaching in the future.

Kunal is a Bioengineering major with a minor in Computer Science from Clarksburg, Maryland. He works in the Duncan Lab in the Bioengineering Department. He is also a Coach at the Math Success Center. He enjoys listening to music, watching movies, and playing soccer. After graduation, he plans on going to graduate school.

Michael Hildreth

Michael (Team Mediator) is a double bioengineering and english language and literature major from Potomac, Maryland. Currently, he works in the Muro Lab of the Institute for Bioscience and Biotechnology Research. In addition, he is a member of the Pi Sigma Epsilon professional business fraternity and the marketing executive for The Catalyst, a bioengineering undergraduate research journal. In his free time, he enjoys playing soccer, watching movies, reading, cooking and painting. After graduation, he plans on pursuing graduate degrees in tissue engineering and post-1800 British literature.

Neal Kewalramani

Neal is a bioengineering and mathematics major from Catonsville, Maryland. He is a member of the Maryland Parliamentary Debate Club at the University of Maryland. He enjoys playing video games, listening to music, and watching tv in his free time. After graduation, he plans to pursue a graduate degree in bioengineering.

Catherine Liu

Catherine is a Biochemistry major from Potomac, Maryland. She works in the Fisher lab in the Department of Biology and is a tutor for the Academic Support and Career Development Unit on campus. She enjoys hanging out with her friends, playing volleyball, reading, and watching TV in her free time. One of her favorites is Keeping up with the Kardashians. After graduation, she plans on going to medical school.

Alexi Rodriguez

Alexi is a Bioengineering major with a minor in mathematics from Frederick, MD. She works for the Gemstone Honors College as a student assistant. She is also the Vice President of the women’s club soccer team. In her free time she enjoys hiking, running, drawing, painting, and playing soccer. After graduation she plans on pursuing a job in the industry.

Danielle Sidelnikov

Danielle is a double Neurobiology and Physiology with History major from North Bethesda, Maryland. She is a Gemstone SL and is a member of Delta Epsilon Mu professional pre-health fraternity. She enjoys reading, journaling, and hiking. After graduation, she plans on going to medical school and eventually becoming a doctor.

Pavan is a Bioengineering major from Laurel, Maryland. He works in the Zachariah lab in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry and is a tutor for the Academic Match Program. He enjoys golfing, swimming, singing, and taking long walks. After graduation, he plans on pursuing a medical degree.

Linnea Warburton

Linnea is a mechanical engineering major with an interest in biomedical engineering. She works in the Klauda lab in the department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering. Linnea is on the University of Maryland Sailing team and enjoys watching movies in her free time. After graduation, Linnea plans to pursue a graduate degree in biomedical engineering.
